Research

  • Theory and simulations of optical physics: laser excess noise, lasers resonators, mechanical effects of light on atoms and molecules in high Q cavities, quantum optics, electromagnetic wave propagation, aberrations, and adaptive optics simulations. 

  • Experimental work with solid state and alkali lasers, atomic spectroscopy, laser linewidth measurement, laser induced fluorescence studies, and adaptive optics operations.
