Research

  • We are working on theoretical and experimental physics of nanostructures using ultrahigh vacuum scanning tunneling microscopy, environmentally controlled scanning force microscopy, and near-field scanning optical microscopy. In particular, we are concentrating on Nanotechnology applied to data storage, to optical characterization of single molecules, and to chemical sensing of only a few molecules.
