Peter A. Franken Conference Room Dedication

On Wednesday, March 30, 2011, the College of Optical Sciences dedicated its eighth floor conference room in memory of Peter A. Franken, the director of the Optical Sciences Center from 1973 to 1982. We were honored to have members of Franken's family and representatives from the early days of OSC present. Franken's longtime colleagues Harrison H. Barrett, Stephen F. Jacobs, Richard Shoemaker and James C. Wyant shared recollections of their times together.
