*Engineer Technician*

Full Time - Fort Lauderdale, FL

Fort Lauderdale based high tech company is seeking an engineering
technician skilled in *optics, opto-mechanics and electronics*.
Candidates must have good hands-on lab skills and enjoy working in a
dynamic and creative environment within a multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build *optical assemblies* for prototype development

• Construct and operate test apparatus for optical assembly
evaluation

• Organize and manage laboratory equipment

• Write lab-view code for test and control apparatus

Skills & Qualifications:

• *Associates degree in optics*, electronic technology or related
fields, with 3+ years of industry experience.

• Experience building optical assemblies

• Experience with oscilloscopes, signal generators, power
supplies and other standard lab equipment

• Familiarity with passive and opto-electronic devices such
as diode lasers, LED’s, LCD, multiplexors, couplers and display
technologies a plus

• Good manual dexterity

• Familiarity with Mil-spec related work

• Familiarity with Labview

• Must be confident in a highly dynamic and creative environment
