Job Description
You will be part of the optical design team, responsible for design and optimization of all Leia display products.
  • Optical modeling of Leia displays through (i) full-wave and/or (ii) ray-tracing simulation
  • Optimize optical performace of Leia displays (efficiency, uniformity, etc.)
  • Work with fabrication team / external vendors to set up experiments for designverification
  • Obtain insights from simulation and measurment results to guide next-generation design
  • Master degree in Optics, Physics or related field
  • 3+ years experience with either full-wave simulation (RCWA, FDTD) or ray-tracing simulation software (Lighttools or Zemax)
  • Proficiency with Matlab or Python
  • Hands-on experience with optical testing and characterization
  • Self-starter with energy and drive to work in a startup environment
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of diffractive optics
  • Some familiarity with display optics, with knowledge of 3D / lightfield displays a plus
