Job description
Optical engineer for optical design and product design
Designing optical systems by using Code V, Zemax, or original software to meet customers’ demanding specifications.
Based on the design and specifications, work with production teams to complete product designs, metrology methods, alignment procedures, and quality control processes optimized for manufacturing.
Both position have to have discussion with customer and collaborate with our staff.
The candidate should expect to work at our headquarters in Japan for 1 or 2 years in a customer-focused engineering role to learn our design method and technology. After that, you will be startup member of our new technical center to be located in U.S. We are preparing for a US office in Tucson or San Jose.
Qualifications
B.S. in Optical Science and Engineering or M.S. or Ph.D. in Optical Science
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong Software skills (Microsoft Office. Code V or Zemax. 3D CAD)
