Description:

Design, analyze, develop, integrate, and test complex optical systems that include closed-loop control for beam projection and optical sensing applications. Analyze optical layout and prescription for proper imaging and beam quality metrics. Layout and specify mechanical interfaces to provide robust mounting interfaces with tight tolerances and high reliability and stability.

Qualifications:

Minimum: BS or MS in optical or mechanical engineering field or equivalent experience. Strong optical analysis with firm understanding of precision mechanical requirements. Desired: Experience with optical analysis and design in ZEMAX and Solidworks.
