Opto-Mechanical Technician and Precision Lens Assembly | Opto Alignment Technology, Inc.

A successful business, established designer and manufacturer of precision optical systems is looking to hire an Opto-mechanical Technician and precision lens assembly for its facility in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Requirements:

• Assosiate degree or higher in mechanics, physics or related field 3+ years experience in precision lens assembly and alignment.
• Experience in lens metrology and test optical systems
• Experience in optical products in a commercial/industrial and military environment
• Strong background in fine mechanics, opto-mechanics, robust packaging, a thermal design, and adhesive attachment methodologies
• Project management skills with participation in product development from concept design through product performance testing
• Experience in mechanical CAD software such as Solidworks or similar packages
• Ability to manage projects including product development / new product introductions
• Communicate with customers to bring the project to successful conclusion.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.
