Position Overview: The Process Engineer will direct the collection of appropriate manufacturing data, will interpret the data and will use it to help guide process improvement efforts.  While the Process Engineer will work with other engineers and technicians, he or she is expected to offer the innovative solutions on their own.   

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • B.S. in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Optical Engineering or 4 years’ experience in manufacturing process engineering
  • Good interactive people skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, management and/or individuals
  • Team player who supports both management and team members
  • Ability to appraise a situation through data analysis and facilitate team to process improvements
  • Experience with interpretation of engineering drawings; familiarity of MIL Standards, ISO Standards, and/or GD&T preferable
  • Experience with lens design (ZEMAX, Code-V) or modeling software (i.e. CAD, Solidworks)
  • Experience with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Strong listening skills and ability to multi-task
  • This job position requires compliance with ITAR Regulations. Therefore, all employees working in this capacity must meet citizenship status.  U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident.

  • Salary is commensurate with experience.
