Job Description: 

Analyst with a strong ability to drive business results using quantitative methodology. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals with a passion for Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, Neural Network Modeling, Image Analytics, Computer Vision, or Data Science looking to be part of a Data Science & Digital Health group. Candidate must have proven experience applying analytical tools to solve real-world problems and for extracting actionable insights from data. Additional responsibilities for this role are as follows:

  • Conduct quantitative assessment to enable efficient product development, testing and commercialization
  • Build and apply predictive models on clinical or real-world data to improve patient outcome
  • Build and apply ML algorithm to develop expert systems and/or AI-enabled product functionality
  • Apply image processing, image segmentation, image registration algorithm for product development
  • Scope opportunities and develop analysis plan for project teams; execute project analysis plans to achieve high quality deliverable, and communicate inference to appropriate stakeholders
  • Manage collaboration with internal partnersand/or external (academia, consulting) groups

Minimum Requirement:

  1. M.S. or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Vision, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Vision Science, Statistics, or related quantitative fields
  2. Advanced modeling and simulation knowledge with proven experience to support product development in the biomedical industry or equivalent industry experience
  3. At least 3+ years of experience in developing and applying one or more of the following to solve real-world problems, namely, neural-networks, predictive modeling, deep-learning, image analysis, signal processing, visualization, or other machine learning techniques
  4. A deep familiarity with applications for data processing, predictive modeling, image processing, visualization, and machine learning algorithm development (e.g. MATLAB, R, Python, ImageJ, TensorFlow)
  5. Experience with business intelligence tools ordistributed data/computing tools is an asset
  6. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including the ability to interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams, Demonstrated aptitude for collaboration with other quantitative partners.
  7. Well-developed organizational skills and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously
