Job Description: 


  • Plan development and design of next generation imaging technology including projector based print engine for 3D Printers
  • Design DLP print engine to handle various UV wavelengths for processing material for faster cure times for SLA printers
  • Understand the 3D printing market and provide guidance to the development team to implement the print engine in various 3D printers
  • Design electronics circuitry and optical components catered to specification imposed by the development team
  • Work with other engineering and technical staff members to ensure the design will work within the provided specifications
  • Develop testing procedure to test the components
  • Subject matter expert and is involved in everything from specification development to design to testing to analysis of the imaging print engine
  • Involved in actual development of manufacturing, assembly and fabrication process of the electro-optical Print module
  • The ideal candidate shall be an Electrical Engineer with experience in projector based optical system design and analysis. Candidate should be capable of analyzing current and future technology trends in optical imaging technology and demonstrated experience in development of optical systems.
  • Desired skills include the capability of leading technical groups and contributing to test plans, testing, and technical reviews to support the program life-cycle and it’s supporting engineering artifacts.


  • Degree: BS Electrical Engineering or Physics, or similar, relevant engineering degree.
  • Relevant Experience: 5-10 years’ experience.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills to resolve technological problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to document results and distribute information in a well-presented format.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and office-related software, such as Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with team members, customers, and support personnel.
