Every spring, the colleges of
the University of Arizona have the opportunity recognize an outstanding
alumnus or alumna, who is then celebrated in the fall Homecoming
festivities.
To date, we have honored the
following recipients:
2011 Alumnus of the Year
Kenneth E. Moore, Ph.D. 1991, wrote the
earliest versions of ZEMAX while working on his doctoral degree at the
College of Optical Sciences. Twenty years later, it is by far the most
widely used optical design software in the world. OSC is pleased to
celebrate his achievements.
