Npupil is the number of sampling points across the pupil diameter. Npupil
is used to set the sampling in the transform planes associated with the lens. For
example, the sampling of an input field in the object plane is determined by
LAMBDA*Npupil/(NA*NHighNA), where NA is the NA of the object space and NHighNA is the
base-2 number that describes the size of the transform field. NHighNA is specified
in the system preferences, and is usually a number like 256 or 512. |
