Prism Week: All Paths Lead to Optics

Last February WiO and SOCk held the first-ever Prism Week at OSC with sponsorship from OSA, SPIE, OSC, and local optics companies. This February will be the second annual Prism Week! We are so happy to continue these events and give everyone at OSC an opportunity to participate and celebrate diversity in the college. Things will be a little different this year, as events will be held online.

With help and guidance from Tech Launch Arizona, Professor Craig Aspinwall and his co-inventor, Colleen Janczak, Ph.D., have started Scintillation Nanotechnologies Inc., a company that supplies radioactive responsive nanoparticles for continuous, high resolution, multicolor measurements in live cells. Janczak serves as the chief operations officer and director of research, and Aspinwall as the chief science officer.
 
Join Dr. Janczak and TLA Senior Licensing Manager Laura Silva as we examine what the journey to commercialization is really like, and why trusting the process is key.
