    Strategic communications coach Kathryn Kellner will present "Being Understood: A How To."

    Speaker Bio(s): 

    Kathryn Kellner has been training and coaching individuals in presentation skills and strategic communication for 20 years. Ms. Kellner’s training incorporates theories and ideas from various disciplines. One can expect to be exposed to communications, personality study, pedagogy and human energy in the training experience. The skills and strategies have been integrated and applied in limitless ways, including basic public presentation, speech design and delivery, leadership training, interview processes, conflict resolution, and program evaluation.

    Over the last 20 years private clientele have included professionals in the fields of higher and secondary education, politics, the sciences, engineering, human resources, health care, technology and law.

    Ms. Kellner holds a B.F.A. in acting and directing from the University of Arizona and has participated in acting programs at the Royal National Theatre Studio in London. Ms. Kellner contributed to the book "ROLE play: Personalities in Action," by Julie Kembel.

    She is a mom to three children, and when she is not coaching her husband, she gardens, paints, travels, writes and rides her horses, but not all at the same time.

    Ms. Kellner resides in Tucson, Ariz..
