UA Undergraduate Research Opportunities Consortium

    Monday, August 10, 2015 - 1:00pm - 3:00pm
    SUMC Grand Ballroom

Undergraduate students from schools across the United States and Latin America – including participants in OSC's Research in Optics REU program – will exhibit their summer research. These outstanding students have participated in a 10-week intensive summer research program under the supervision of a UA faculty mentor. They have conducted research in the sciences, social sciences, education and humanities, and participated in workshops that prepare them for successfully applying to graduate school. These scholars have a high academic achievement, strong research experience and a desire to pursue graduate education. This is an excellent opportunity to recruit top students for master’s and Ph.D. programs at UA. Student posters will be arranged by disciplines, as follows: agricultural and environmental sciences, biological life sciences, computer and information sciences, engineering, medical and allied health sciences, mathematics and statistics, physical sciences, psychology and social sciences, humanities, and education. The event is free and open to the public. Please plan to attend!
