    WiO's first meeting of the year will be held Thursday, August 29th from 2-3 pm in room 654. We will be discussing our mission statement, filling board and committee positions, and discussing upcoming events. As a reminder, our leadership positions and events are open to all students of any gender identity enrolled at the University of Arizona, graduate or undergraduate, who are passionate about the important role of diversity and inclusion in optics.
