Affiliate ESDI Announces Merger

    Industrial Affiliates program member Engineering Synthesis Design Inc. announced a merger with the Mahr Group on June 8. The company will now be called Mahr-ESDI, and it will continue to operate in its current Tucson location, with Jack Schumann still serving as CEO and founder Raymond Castonguay as CTO and director of research and development.

    Castonguay commented, "I am happy to be part of a larger innovative company that will take advantage of Mahr-ESDI’s technologies in addressing present and future metrology challenges. With Mahr’s worldwide presence, high-volume manufacturing capacity and metrology expertise we will be able to achieve far more."
