Comet NEOWISE Passes By, Alumnus Captures It

    The expert reviews are in and Comet NEOWISE is a huge hit! Last month, those who stayed up late or rose before sunrise to gaze into the skies were greeted by this stunning comet. The photos (below) of the NEOWISE were captured in Boulder, CO and Loveland Pass, CO by OSC alumnus, Jack Jewell, PhD 1984. He took up to 16 frames at 4 seconds each, and through talented editing has combined the images to bring out the comet's full potential.
