Countdown to Launch

The much anticipated launch of NASA's OSIRIS-REx mission, led by the UA's Lunar and Planetary Laboratory, is set to blast off on Thursday, Sept. 8. You can follow the official schedule of events and launch briefings, as well as attend the UA Launch Party, due to take place on the Mall at 2 p.m. The launch party will feature the NASA broadcast including pre-program information about the mission, music and guest speakers.
