Coyle Receives Pollicove Scholarship

The OSA Foundation has chosen fifth-year doctoral student Laura Coyle to receive its 2013 Harvey M. Pollicove Memorial Scholarship. Laura, whose work uses computer generated holograms for the alignment and testing of optical systems, is a member of Jim H. Burge's Large Optics Fabrication and Testing Group. She will use the award to support her dissertation research on a higher-order CGH-based calibration for Fizeau interferometers.
