Gather 'Round for the Group Portrait

Come one and all for the 2013 College of Optical Sciences group portrait, which is currently scheduled for Wednesday, April 10, around 11:30 a.m.

We're shaking things up this year, hoping to get a really great image. Rather than gathering on the west lawn, as we have in the past few years, we'll meet at the south-side entrance between the west and central wings, right below the College of Optical Sciences sign facing the parking lot. We're going to try to take the picture as the sun completely fills that alcove, which should happen right before noon. (If all else fails, though, we can just scoot around the building to the west lawn.)

So, given these Arizona skies, it may be a good idea to wear a pair of shades and a little sunscreen. Please also note that you'll be standing on concrete instead of grass. But this is a fun opportunity to mark your place in OSC history — we're looking forward to seeing you all on April 10.

(If you have no idea what the fuss is about, take a look down the central hallway on the seventh floor. You'll see dozens of portraits, from the dean's office all the way down to the stairwell, filled with the faces of faculty, staff and students past.)
