Prism Award Finalist: 4D Technology

    OSC Congratulations

    Industrial Affiliates Associate member, 4D Technology, is a finalist to receive a prestigious Photonics Prism Award for 2017. Winners will be announced during the upcoming SPIE Photonics West conference in San Francisco, Calif. 4D won a Prism award in the Other Metrology Instrumentation category for 2016.

    4D Technology was co-founded by Professor Emeritus and OSC Founding Dean James C. Wyant; Adjunct Research Professor John B. Hayes; Neal Brock; and Dr. James Millerd. Located in Tucson, Ariz., 4D Technology designs and manufactures laser interferometers, surface roughness profilers, polarization cameras and surface gauges, for accurate measurement of optics, optical systems and precision machined surfaces.
