Race for the Cure Comes to UA

The 15th Southern Arizona Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure hits the streets on March 17 — and, for the first time, all the action will happen on the University of Arizona campus. Olympic medalist and UA undergraduate Brigetta Barrett will be on hand as honorary race chair, and thousands of Tucsonans will join her that Sunday morning for a one-mile walk or a 5K run.

You'll find many ways to join the fight: participating in the walk or run; donating to a runner or team; donating directly to Komen's southern Arizona branch; volunteering on race day; and even sleeping in for the cure!

Susan G. Komen for the Cure is the world’s largest and most progressive grassroots network combating breast cancer; for every dollar raised by the southern Arizona affiliate, 75 cents stays here to help southern Arizonans. Your support will be well shepherded.
