Remote Sensing Group Gets AO Cover

    "Design and Calibration of Field Deployable Ground-Viewing Radiometers," written by OSC's Remote Sensing Group, was chosen as the cover article for the second issue of the 52nd volume of OSA journal Applied Optics.

    According to first author Nikolaus Anderson, "The paper details the design and characterization of new ground-viewing radiometers with eight spectral channels. These instruments are used to measure the surface reflectance of a test site in support of automated vicarious radiometric calibration of airborne and satellite sensors."
