    Staff Recognition Program banner

A huge congratulations to the recent OSC Staff Recognition Program winners: Cindy Robertson, Michelle Bryan and Melissa Fasulo.

Nominated by Nikolaus Anderson and Kaye Rowan, Melissa received the 2016 1st Quarter Peer-to-Peer award and was was given a plaque and $250 for her dedication and hard work.

    Nik says of Melissa:

From my perspective, Melissa has continually worked and performed while her accounting unit was short-staffed, taking over new work and roles and collaborating very effectively with research groups during these transitional periods. I believe she has done this college a great service and, along with her new team, continues to do so.

    Kaye had this to say:

Over the past two years, Melissa has devoted an incredible amount of focus, energy and talent to help organize an efficient and accurate financial reporting and account management process. In addition, she is very easy to approach and offers a cheerful and 'can-do' attitude that is to be admired.

There were SPOT awards given for February and March, as well. Cindy Robertson (now a two-time winner) was nominated by R. John Koshel for February and Michelle Bryan was nominated for March by Kaye Rowan. Both receive a plaque and a $50 cash award.

MIchelle Bryan - OSC SPOT Award Winner - February 2016Kaye says:

In the one year Michelle has worked for the Development Department, she has proven to be a hard-working, dedicated professional - and most agreeable to requests even if not within her job description. It is most obvious that she takes great pride in her work and is diligent in presenting her very best. I sincerely appreciate her great attitude and exceptional work.

Cindy Robertson - OSC SPOT Winner - February 2016R. John Koshel says:

Cindy is always professional and exemplary in her oversight of the distance learning program videos, extra class recordings, colloquia and other recordings, even while ill and with extensive other duties. She stepped up to provide recordings for the Winter School event with limited time and resources, working into the evenings and weekends. She consistently produces high-quality work and regularly performs beyond expectations.
