Congratulations to Lucy Valenzuela, our 2nd Quarter 2016 Peer-to-Peer award winner. Nominated by Michelle Bryan, Lucy was given a plaque and $250 for her continued dedication and incredible work ethic. Lucy received a SPOT Staff Recognition Award in 2015, making her a two-time winner. Way to go, Lucy!

    Michelle says of Lucy:

I feel Lucy should be recognized for her professionalism, kindness, helpfulness, and positive attitude. It is qualities such as hers that encourage a "work as a team" environment.

Lucy provided assistance and training to me during the first few months of my employment. Although she too was in the learning process of her new position, she was always patient, kind and helpful to me. I have noticed on many occasions her helpful attitude to those around her as well. I don't get to work with Lucy on a daily basis but when I see her in "action" she is always very professional in both attitude and appearance - whether it be working events, colloquium or assisting Faculty/Staff.

She always puts a smile on my face as she does [to] all those around her.
