Tech Launch Arizona begins its semester-long series of workshop lunches with "Protecting Your Invention," which will be offered in two sessions: Feb. 13 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and Feb. 27 from noon to 2 p.m. Both meetings take place in the Rincon Room at the Student Union Memorial Center.

These commercialization workshops aim to help University researchers learn about the steps to protecting their technologies and taking them to market. Each workshop include a one-hour seminar on a specific topic, followed by a one hour-discussion where attendees can chat with experts.

This workshop covers “Protecting Your Invention," detailing the purpose and rights associated with intellectual property, how tech transfer works at UA and why the process is important to researchers and inventors.

RSVP for the Feb. 13 and Feb. 27 sessions today; lunch is provided, and space is limited to the first 50 respondents.
