TRIF Fellowship Applications Due May 5

    The University of Arizona's 2014-2015 TRIF Imaging Fellowship, which supports Ph.D. students researching the development or novel utilization of imaging systems, is accepting applications through Monday, May 5.

    Award preference will be given to degree candidates actively involved in dissertation research. The fellowship will cover half of the student's RA salary, with the remainder to paid by their adviser. Recipients will be expected to participate in a monthly seminar series and to write a final report on their research progress during the fellowship year.

    Applicants must provide a curriculum vitae that includes their current GPA and degree progress (e.g., third-year, passed comprehensive exams), as well as a one- to two-page description of their dissertation project and career objectives. Their advisers must also send a letter with an assessment of the applicant's abilities and an affirmation of their commitment to supply the remainder of the year's funding.
