In celebration of International Day of Women and Girls in Science, OSC's very own, Adriana Stohn is currently featured on the main page of the University of Arizona website. UA selected six women across campus to feature and revealed these women's "superpowers." Stohn is shown holding two Poincaré spheres which are used in polarization studies, central to Stohn's research in the Chipman Polarization lab. In the headlining article, she speaks about her determination to pursue optical engineering when she realized "that optics was the future of electronics." Now she is majoring in optical engineering and minoring in electrical and computer engineering. Stohn is an active participant in Women in Optics and the program coordinator and lead facilitator for "Girls Who Code." Read more about Stohn and other UA women in science.
