The annual OSC Winter School occurs between January 6 - 10, 2020.  On January 8th there is a poster event for the students visiting us from many other institutions. OSC students are invited to present a poster or assist with judging the visitors' posters. Email John Koshel with interest in judging. To submit a poster please upload your poster title and summary here.

We encourage all OpSci students to participate. Posters can be on any optics related project you were involved on that you’d like to present. This can be work performed with a research group and/or related to an advanced laboratory project you worked on or even a summer intern.  It is also a great opportunity to say a few words about your experience at OSC.

    Important Items:

    1. A panel of judges from OSC consisting of graduate students and post docs will rank their favorite posters from the visitors. If you want to help with judging contact John Koshel
    2. Print your poster via your group or own resources.  If it is a problem, please contact John Koshel.
    3. Posters can be up to 4’ x 4’ (the hotel will be providing 4’ x 8’ boards, on which 2 posters can be placed). The hotel is La Quinta on Alvernon.
    4. YOU MUST USE THE ATTACHED TEMPLATE FOR YOUR SHORT POSTER SUMMARY, AND UPLOAD TO THE LINK BELOW.
    5. Please try and submit your summary ASAP. If we receive your summary by Thursday, December 26th, we will be able to guarantee its inclusion in the printed itinerary. If you cannot, please still send a summary, but it may not make it into the itinerary. No matter how late you submit, you can still join the poster session so long as we receive a title from you no later than Friday, Jan 3.
