If dates have not
yet been determined, they will be announced well in advance.
The final exam is split into an in-class exam with a one-day take home design
problem.
Please note the final exam date – plan your holiday travel accordingly.
Homework:
here will be
approximately one assignment per week, and it will usually be due in one week.
The purpose of the homework is for you to practice the techniques discussed in
class or to reinforce this material. Completion of the homework is important
not only for a good grade, but also to fully master this material. Past history
has shown that homework is a necessary but not sufficient condition for a good
grade. Homework is due at the start of class.
Homework is due in class. If it is received
late, it will be subject to a 25% penalty. If it is turned in after the solution
sheets have been issued, it will receive no credit. If you need an excused
extension, please see me prior to the due date - we can usually work it out.
