The reflectance of a test site is measured at the time of satellite/airborne sensor overpass. This data is an integral part of the sensor calibration process. An ASD spectroradimeter is to make measurements of the ground and then reference measurements of a Spectralon panel. Processing this data takes into account the BRF of the Spectralon which is measured in RSG's Blacklab.

Typical reflectance product of the Railroad Valley Playa. The ancillary information provided is latitude/longitude, altitude, date, time, solar zenith angle range during the time of measurement, and the sensor. The yellow stripes in the plot signify the band locations and widths of the sensor.
