Job Description: 
We are looking for a unique and creative individual who is looking for career growth opportunities. This position requires attributes for both sales and engineering with daily customer interactions to support orders, inquiries, and technical questions. In a typical day, you will multi-task to enter orders, manage accounts, issue quotations, or discuss applications, via phone, email, or through the website. You will also be communicating and working with Field Sales, Engineering, Marketing and Product Managers alike.
 
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct technical and application support to customers through phone, email, and or the OptoSigma website
• Process Orders – Web based, email, Current and New Accounts.
• Work with production manufacturing to coordinate estimations for cost and availability of custom products.
• Create and issue quotations for standard and custom products.
• Employ professional and strong written and communicational skills
• Potential to assist setting up trade show displays and in person support during events
• Assist in technical and product training activities
• Utilize company CRM program to input leads, contacts, and updated information
 
Requirements:
• BS degree in optics, physics, photonics or related engineering discipline.
• Optical / opto-mechanical or related lab experience desirable
• Enthusiastic, Energetic and willingness to learn and grow
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to excel in a team environment.
• Competency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
