Laser Staff Scientist | University of Rochester Laboratory for Laser Energetics

The Laboratory for Laser Energetics seeks a staff scientist with experience modeling, designing, and building lasers to work on cutting edge systems. Experience with solid-state lasers, frequency conversion systems, and optical systems design is strongly desired.
Strong candidates should also have a broad knowledge of optical physics, and must be able to lead projects and manage multiple priorities. In addition, the candidate is expected to publish in peer-reviewed journals and attend conferences.
Ph.D. in Optics, Physics, or similar plus 10 years of experience is desired.
