Adele De Berri Pioneers of AV Award Goes to Roger A. Hajjar

    OSC alumnus Roger A. Hajjar and Founder/CTO of Prysm, Inc. was presented the distinguished Adele De Berri Pioneers of AV Award for 2016. The award is given annually to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the science of audiovisual experiences. Dr. Hajjar was selected for his Laser Phosphor Display (LPD) technology, which leverages single-wavelength lasers to excite a phosphor screen and create images. The award will be presented at the InfoComm Conference, held in Las Vegas, June 4-10.

    "Optical Sciences and its applications have intruiged me since I was young," says Roger. "This curiosity has led to the technology that is the foundation of the Prysm portfolio today. I am very honored to see our work in the industry recognized with such a prestigious award, and I would like to thank the entire Prysm team that contributed in bringing this technology to the market."
