Alumnus Gives Biomedical Technology Technical Presentation

Sean McCafferty, MD and OSC alumnus 2015, will be offering a biomedical technology technical presentation at the Arizona Photonics Days 2020 on January 31 at 4 p.m.  As CEO of Conexus Lens, Inc., Sean will be discussing his new lens designs in his presentation “Accommodating Intraocular Lens Implant Using a Novel Applanating Variable Focus Lens System.” Conexus was founded by McCafferty in 2016 to develop a patented technology for a new type of implantable intraocular — inside the eye — lens that can change focus using the natural eye muscles.
