Falco Helps Launch the International Year of Light

    Among the numerous dignitaries – including five Nobel Prize-winners, several ambassadors and the secretary-general of the United Nations – speaking at the opening ceremonies of the International Year of Light in Paris this week was OSC's own Charles M. Falco.

    Falco, who serves as chair of condensed matter physics and professor of optical sciences and physics, discussed the optics and art discoveries he made with David Hockney in a session titled "Light for Humanity and Culture."
