According to Lakshminarayan Hazra in the December issue of the Optical Society of India's Journal of Optics, José Sasián's Introduction to Aberrations in Optical Imaging Systems "satisfies a long felt need for an authentic text to obtain new perspectives in aberration theory." The book, published by Cambridge University Press in early 2013, offers an introduction to the wave theory of aberrations and how aberrations relate to imaging.
