Optical Engineering and Fabrication Facility DKIST Equipment Reception
On Feb. 28, 2014, more than 80 faculty, staff and students gathered in OSC's Optical Engineering and Fabrication Facility for a lunchtime reception to celebrate the integration of a new 60 cm stressed lap and 4.5 m computer-controlled polishing machine. These two impressive pieces of equipment are key to the successful completion of the 4 m primary mirror for the Daniel K. Inouye Solar Telescope.
