For Graduate Students
We educate more students in optical sciences than any other school in the United States. Our graduates become professors, scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs; they work in academia, in government, in industry and in defense at both national and international levels. Here you will find helpful information on what we offer our incoming graduate students.
Graduate Programs
In the fast-paced, high-tech world of optics, graduate education is always the key to success. Optics firms are experiencing unprecedented demands for graduate-level employees and competition for the small pool of very highly educated potential employees is intense.
Application Information
Graduate applicants should hold a bachelor of science degree in optics, engineering, physics, mathematics or a related field. Application information is available on the Graduate Admissions page.
Tuition, Fees & Funding
Helpful UA financial aid forms, calculators and funding information, including College of Optical Sciences scholarships. Eligibility for need-based grants, loans, scholarships and federal work-study programs is determined by completing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid form.
Graduate Student Forms
Forms and surveys in both online and PDF formats to help you complete your graduate work at the College of Optical Sciences.
Graduate Student Video Resources
Helpful videos that will answer common questions asked by graduate students. Topics include academic programs staff, funding, UAccess, GradPath and more.
