Students, Start the Semester with a Great Campus Job

Problem: Classes start in less than two weeks, and you still need a part-time job. Solution: Check out your options at the UA Career Services Student Employment Fair, coming up on Wednesday, Aug. 27, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Student Union Memorial Center North Ballroom.

Find out which companies plan to attend on the Career Services website. And if you can't make it to the fair, stay up-to-date on the latest openings with the Wildcat JobLink.

Staff, Step Up Your Game with the Professional Development Playbook

Did you know that all benefits-eligible employees are allotted 16 hours each year, paid, for professional development?

Now that you know, do you know how to approach your supervisor for approval and support? If you need guidance, try the Professional Development Playbook (PDF) created by the UA Commission on the Status of Women. It tells you where to look for classes, how to approach your manager – and why professional development is so important to our growth as employees.
