Welcome back!
Welcome back, everyone! Here at the Wyant College of Optical Sciences, we're all looking forward to the new school year and all the adventures and educational gains it will bring.
Call for Student Presenters: Fall Industrial Affiliates
Love to share your research with others? Dying for some practice before the big thesis defense? Or looking to impress potential future employers!? Look no further! The Fall Industrial Affiliates Workshop is looking to fill the agenda with student presenters like you!
Photonics Group Inventory Site
Nasser Peyghambarian's Photonics Group is now offering access to the new Photonics Inventory Site to all Wyant College of Optical Sciences students, staff, professors and faculty.
Battery Recycling
Battery Recyclying is now available for faculty, staff, and students in OSC. The Photonics group will make available marked boxes on the OSC dock in the room behind the freight elevator for battery disposal. These boxes will be collected and disposed of on the first Monday of every month. Having large quantities of old batteries lying around is a safety hazard. Please dispose of them properly.

Mansuripur Publishes Book
Congratulations to Professor Masud Mansuripur who recently published "Mathematical Methods in Science and Engineering: Applications in Optics and Photonics" under Cognella Academic Publishing. The book is being used in Mansuripur's OPTI 503A course, available in the Spring Semester.
Su added to Board of National Institute for Occupational Health and Safety
Congratulations to Assistant Professor Judy Su for her recent appointment to serve on the Board of Scientific Counselors, National Institute for Occupational Health and Safety (NIOSH), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
