    BRO Offers Free APEX Course

    Breault Research Organization is holding a special Introduction to APEX tutorial from Jan. 2 to Jan. 4 to accommodate the semester break, and they have offered free admittance to OSC faculty, graduate students and senior undergraduates interested in the course.

    The UA Office of University Research Parks is accepting nominations through Jan. 4 for its Technology Innovation Awards and UA at the Leading Edge awards, which are given annually at Innovation Day at UA.

    Summer Opportunities for Students

    Students looking for summer internships or other sources of funding can peruse two popular sites that aggregate opportunities in STEM fields: Pathways to Science s, a project of the Institute for Broadening Participation; and NASA's One Stop Shopping Initiative. Application deadlines vary widely, so search sooner rather than later!

    2012 Holiday Party

    On Thursday, Dec. 6, the OSC community gathered for food, festivities and photographs; decorating the Meinel Building's third floor patio was the art of graduate students and accomplished photographers Clarissa Kenney and Chris Summitt. After lunch came a well-attended gift swap, where staff and students battled for the best trinkets of the day.
