    WiO to Host Launching Your Career Symposium

    Women in Optics Career Symposium

    The Women in Optics (WiO) club is co-sponsoring The Launching Your Career Symposium, to be held on April 16, 2016. The symposium encourages STEM women across all career stages to participate in a panel discussion with accomplished female leaders, a student poster session with prizes and a workshop on personal and professional presentation. Registration is free, though limited, so be sure to register early.

    Sawyer Receives Churchill Scholarship

    Travis Sawyer Awarded Churchill Scholarship

    College of Optical Sciences senior and Optics Ambassador Travis Sawyer was one of two UA engineering students to be awarded the prestigious Churchill Scholarship for 2016. The scholarship is given for outstanding academic achievement and proven research talent in science, engineering or mathematics. Each recipient will complete a one-year master's degree program at the University of Cambridge in England.
