OSC Offers New Research Experience for Undergraduates
The college is launching a new REU program this summer: Research in Optics will allow 10 undergraduates from across the country to study in Tucson with OSC's world-leading faculty for 10 weeks, culminating in a research presentation and poster session in early August.
Applications are due March 1.

Alumnus Seeking Exoplanets with ACESat
Research scientist Eduardo Bendek, Ph.D. 2012, would like to take a good long look around our nearest neighboring star system for exoplanets — and he and a colleague at NASA's Ames Research Center have proposed a Small Explorer mission to do so. Learn more about the Alpha Centauri Exoplanet Satellite's strategy and technology (including a coronograph built by OSC's own Olivier Guyon) in this Scientific American profile.
