    SPECTROMETER MAKES NEWS FOR ABILITY TO SCREEN FOR COVID-19

    A spectrometer system invented by Wyant College professor, Tom Milster and co-inventors Pramod Khulbe and Barry Gelernt, is now being used for its ability to detect COVID-19. UArizona startup, Botanisol Analytics, anticipates being able to field COVID-19 screeners this fall, using the small and portable machine about the size of a file box. Read more about the system.

    MIAOMIAO XU SELECTED FOR 2020 JEWELL AWARD FOR EXTREME OPTICS

    Congratulations to Miaomiao Xu who is the 2020 recipient of the Jewell Award for Extreme Optics. Miaomiao is the third recipient of the award. Past recipients of the award include Xin Li for the 2018-2019 year and Hekun Huang for the 2019-2020 year.
