    Seeking Faculty Nominations: 2018 Undergraduate Research Innovation Award

    Faculty members are encouraged to nominate undergraduate students for the Undergraduate Research Innovation Award in Optics. The award recognizes a University of Arizona optics undergraduate whose research achievements demonstrate promise in advancing innovative applications of optics that improve quality of life or address societal changes.     2018 Festival of Books

    On March 10th OSC opened its doors to the public for the Festival of Books. Fun demonstrations were set up inside for everyone to enjoy and three special presentations were given. Students volunteered from Women in Optics and SOCk as well as staff and faculty.

    Laser Fun Day Seeks Volunteers

    Take an important role in the planning and/or execution of the largest annual event to take place at the College of Optical Sciences! Sign up to be a volunteer or contact outreach@optics.arizona.edu  with questions. All volunteers receive a Laser Fun Day Shirt, pizza, and eegees. Laser Fun Day 2018 is on April 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Meinel Building (1630 East University Boulevard) on the UA campus. Admission is free and open to the public.
