IN MEMORIAM: H. ANGUS MACLEOD
It is with great sadness that we report the passing of H. Angus Macleod, Emeritus Professor of Optical Sciences, on April 29, 2021 at the age of 87.
WYANT COLLEGE IN-PERSON COMMENCEMENT 2021
The Wyant College commencement ceremony will take place at 7 p.m. tomorrow, May 14 in the Arizona Stadium in partnership with the College of Engineering. Attend virtually from anywhere!

ZEISS CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL DAY OF LIGHT
This year marks the first time ZEISS is celebrating the International Day of Light. Zahra Nafar, Senior Systems Engineer at ZEISS Medical Technology in Dublin, CA, has organized a series of free virtual talks that showcase ZEISS technologies and are oriented along the spectrum of light.
OPTICAL SCIENCES LICENSING MANAGER SOUGHT
Tech Launch Arizona, the office that commercializes inventions stemming from UA innovation, is searching for a Senior Licensing Manager for the College of Optical Sciences. If have the experience and are interested in working with faculty, staff and students to maximize the impact of inventions and discoveries coming out of the renowned work taking place across the college, this is an excellent opportunity.

2021 ENGINEERING DESIGN DAY SUCCESS
A year of long and intense work was put in by all participating undergraduate, senior students resulting in an astounding 99 projects. Out of twenty-nine total awards ten Wyant College students and Dr. Mike Nofziger's mentored team took home nine awards. Congratulations!
