In Memoriam: Kevin P. (Rolland-)Thompson
Kevin P. (Rolland-)Thompson, The University of Arizona and College of Optical Sciences’ 2015 Alumnus of the Year, passed away on Nov. 20 in Seneca Falls, NY, just over four weeks after being diagnosed with cancer.

Space Dynamics Laboratory Info Session
Dr. Jed J. Hancock, Civil Space Division Director, will be giving a presentation on SDL's Optical Science Programs on Dec. 2 at 5:00 p.m. in Meinel 307. Faculty Distinctions
Roger Angel Inducted Into Inventors Hall of Fame
Regents' Professor of Optical Sciences J. Roger P. Angel, whose work helped expand the horizons of astronomy and optics, will be inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame. The ceremony will take place at the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C. on May 5, 2016.
